Earth Day Research Poster Competition

Eligibility:
All registered AU undergraduate and graduate students

Requirements:
Auburn University students in all colleges and schools who are involved in research projects related to the environment are invited to enter Auburn University’s Environmental Institute’s Earth Day 2007 Student Research Poster Competition.

Size:
Posters are to be no larger than 3'high X 4'wide

Limitations:
Space is limited. Interested students are urged to contact AUEI as soon as possible to reserve a space. For more details, please contact Kay Stone at 334.844.4132 or

Deadline:
Posters are due April 18, 2007 no later than 3 p.m. in Room 101 Comer Hall.

Prizes:
  • First $300
  • Second $200
  • Third $100

Judging:
Poster judging will be held in the Exhibit Lounge of the Foy Union Building at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 and will last approximately one hour. Poster authors will be required to stand by their posters during the judging to answer questions about the work. Judging will be based on content, presentation and the author’s knowledge of the materials.

Entrants from previous competitions are encouraged to submit as long as the poster presented is based on new or updated research.

Light refreshments will be served to judges and authors. Winners will be posted during Earth Day event hours on Thursday, April 19, 2007.
